Alder
Ridge Vineyard is situated 15 miles west of the small town
of Patterson, Washington. It’s set atop a series of arid,
sparsely vegetated ridges that shoot up nearly 1,000 feet at
their highest point above the great river below. It’s
a little piece of heaven. The view is breathtaking and the
bounty, endless. This hot landscape receives just 2 inches
of rain each year, on average, and it’s precisely this
climate and the steep, south-facing slopes that make Alder
Ridge the perfect spot for growing high quality grapes. For
more information, visit our website at www.alderridge.com

Our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon was chosen by Wall Street Journal’s
Luxury Dozen for 2009 and “Highly acclaimed Washington
Cabernet”. You’ll find a dark red to garnet
color with abundant black cherry, dark chocolate, anise
and espresso
on the nose. Good structure and concentration across the
mid palate with violet and spice flavors that continue
to develop
and linger in a long finish.
